Technical Consultants are also available for on-site supervision of services and installation of your bulk liquid transfer equipment. Our repair facilities offer a complete refurbishment program for Marine Loading Arms, Tank Truck / Rail Car Arms and swivel joint assemblies. Preventive Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) programs are also a part of our service to ensure safe and optimal operation of your bulk liquid transfer equipment. An extensive inventory of Marine Loading Arm and Tank Truck / Rail Car Arm spare parts is maintained at our repair facility to offer quick turn around on emergency requirements (Emco Wheaton, AARIG Terminal System and CE-LSI). A basic PMI program for Marine Loading Arms would include: - Visual inspection of all components
- Check arm for proper operation
- Check balance and phase
- Visual inspection of swivel joints for leaks and wear
- Inspect rigid links and wire line assemblies for evidence of wear or corrosion
- Inspect coupler, valves, and Emergency Release System (ERC)
- Inspect hydraulic HPU and Control along with on arm hydraulic for proper operation, leaks or damaged.
Following the equipment inspection an Inspection Report will detail the condition of the equipment, along with recommendations for repair or refurbishment. A bid will then be presented to cover the agreed scope of work. This PMI program will also assist you in being proactive with required maintenance instead of reacting to an emergency repair. A basic PMI program for Truck and Rail Car Arms would include: - Visually inspect each swivel for leaks and wear
- Check arm for proper range of motion
- Check plumb of arm
- Inspect any arm supports (flanges, bearings, manifolds, etc.)
- Inspect balancing mechanism (spring cans, weights, etc.)
