The system is composed of:
- Probe/Cane
- Socket
- Grounding Bolt
- Cable
- Dummy (require for two-wire systems)
Once the system is installed and operational, an electronic sensor will automatically detect if fuel has reached maximum capacity during loading. If an overfill is found by the system, it will send a signal to stop the line’s flow. This is useful for bottom loading applications where it can be difficult to determine the volume of product when filling each compartment.
There’s an option to fit two or five wires. Two-wire systems are for tankers with up to eight compartments and are compatible with a 10-pin socket only, while the five-wire systems can accommodate to 12 compartments with 6- and 10-pin socket only.
Other features include:
- Fluoro-elastomer seals compatible with petroleum products
- Housing protection to IP66 with impact rating better than 09 (10 joule impact) for maximum durability
- Compatible with all known systems on the market
