Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI)

To maximize the life of your systems and keep them working efficiently and effectively we highly recommend periodic inspections by qualified personnel.

Emco Wheaton has a team of experienced specialists who can work with your personnel to carry out these inspections. These are an ideal way of highlighting any current or projected problems with your systems. We are aware that many times equipment has been customized to your specific needs and we have the knowledge required to work with these products.

Training

We are committed to the long-term well-being of your project and operators. That's why, when it comes to the operation of a range of our loading arms, we offer on-site training for operators and maintenance teams every two to five years. This ensures that you get the most out of your equipment whilst remaining safe.

In addition to training at site, we also run an annual program of events at our facilities. These events are aimed at providing our customers with a broad knowledge of our products and services as well as informing clients of upcoming technological developments.

Upgrades

Many products within our portfolio will give trouble free service for more than three decades if maintained correctly. During this time, technology develops and upgrades become both cost effective and feasible.

Upgrades can come in the form of not just hardware but also software, which can improve your control and monitoring of the equipment, adding value to you.

Refurbishment

Products such as our larger coastal marine loading arms may, during their lifetime, require a complete overhaul. Our engineers will visit your site, review your requirements and prepare a detailed report and quotation for a complete overhaul. Where loading operations have not altered much, this can be a cost-effective way to extend the lifespan of your plant and equipment.

Spare Parts

Our spare parts are available all over the world; either directly from our manufacturing plants or in case of transport solutions, also via our distributors and representatives. We strongly recommend only the use of genuine Emco Wheaton spares on our products and control systems. Use of third-party parts can adversely affect the performance of the equipment, potentially cause irreparable damage and may well create safety issues.

Service Exchange

In special cases, we offer a service exchange program for key components. This program reduces potential downtime and improves the return on investment by quickly replacing an in-use Emco Wheaton product with another, while offering credit for the return of the old unit. The program is an integral part of our commitment to providing excellent customer care.

Remote Support

If on-site service cannot be provided at short notice, we are still by your side and ready to support you remotely. Assistance can be delivered via phone or video conference, and for our control systems through secure remote maintenance access. This field is evolving rapidly, and we continue to develop new and enhanced remote support options for our customers.
